Nebulae is the name given to gigantic gas clouds spread throughout the universe. Stars primary universe objects are born inside these gas clouds. They provide building elements for the formation of a star. Here are some shots of nebulae taken by eye of mankind i.e. Hubble telescope.

Super Nova is not the only way a star dies. It is a massive explosion which throws out large amount of energy more than our sun produces in its life time. A star need to be 50 times bigger than our sun to be a supernova. Super nova is still a baby explosion in front of Hyper Nova. Here are some imaginary but based on fact shots of super nova.
